Scholarships

Each year the Fountain City Business and Professional Association sponsors a scholarship for a Central High School graduating senior.  This scholarship is to be used for continuing education, including but not limited to college and vocational training.  The winning student is awarded a one-time payment of $1,500.00 that is paid to the institution they have selected for higher education.

Faculty members of Central High School nominate seniors who meet the established criteria.  The final selection is made by the FCB&P Scholarship Committee and is announced by the FCB&P President at the Senior Awards Evening each May.

Criteria for Consideration:

1. All applicants must be considering a business profession, including, but not limited to, vocational, mechanics, etc.
2. All applicants must possess an overall grade point average of 2.5 or C+.
3. All applicants must have an average or above average ACT score.
4. All applicants must be recommended by a faculty member.
